Definitely nicer than the last line of their final episode for the BBC ("War Babies"):  "So long, suckers!"

As far as I know, they didn't intend to end the show for ever there (or for many years to come). There was some problem with LWT. So  it must have been just a nice way to end the episode.

Subject:  ep. 9-6 "Animals Are People Too" (LWT) question...

I watched ep. 9-6 "Animals Are People Too" last night for the first time since it was originally broadcast.

One thing that struck me was the very end, which was a very Warner Bros cartoon 'that's all folks'.

As this was the last Goodies episode ever, does anyone know if the 'that's all folks' was a deliberate statement about the Goodies being over for ever or merely a nice way to end the episode/series?

Ross
