I was watching an episode of "Are you being served?" on uk gold, and Mrs Slocombe rode on, on a Trandem, very simular to Buttercup, perhaps Perry and Croft asked the goodies crew to borrow it, I know there was more than one, so that must have been one of them.

At least one version of "Buttercup" is in Australia I think.  Someone bought her and went on a sponsored cycle ride.  That is if the heat hasn't gone to my head and I'm imagining it!

I was talking to a mate the other day and the question of Buttercup came about. Where the hell is she? Does anyone know who owns her now or has the Beeb kept her in the darkest prop cupboard at television centre?

(For the Un-initiated, Buttercup is the Trandem Bicycle that Tim, Bill and Graeme used to ride)

  Thanks....ANDY
