Yes, that is from Broaden Your Mind. As The Goodies began in 1970. Nearly all the BYM series has been wiped and only a few sketches can be found (to be seen) The Goodies At Last DVD i think. That is unfortunately one of sketches that has been wiped. But you can hear all of the two series on Youtube. Audio Only is place to search on there, and Broaden Your Mind of course!!
Hope this helps!

Hi Sempervirons, That sounds very likely to be the sketch show Broaden Your Mind https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Broaden_Your_Mind ... from the late 1960s in B&W. It certainly doesn't seem to come from The Goodies, but with luck a better-informed fan can confirm or deny. Cheers!

Hello from New Zealand and thank you for such a great site. I am trying to find out what episode of what may have been 'The Goodies' in black and white in the late 1960s had a skit where Tim Brooke Taylor's character got a job at the BBC and Graeme Garden was showing him around the place. Garden introduced him to the room where " This is where we make up the news." Tim professes his disgust; "What do you mean make up the news." Garden takes him inside the room and a model relating to a recent news item (I think it was a rocky promemtory with a light beaming on it that comprised a real event scenario) at that time. Since then ithis skit has always stuck in my mind for fifty years and more, that theme of 'making up the news', and how it appears to play out on the media.

they are all sat on the bike & a train goes past & knocks them all over? I have been trying to find which episode it is for ages but can't seem to get any info on it. I think the train was a cardboard cut-out.
