'Who could forget that great bit in Hunting Pink where Graeme trips over the carpet? Bill had to start eating his hat to keep from laughing! Of course Tim might've gone a bit then but he was looking away from the camera at the time.

I reckon that he did corpse a bit here which is why he didn't look at the camera - how could he keep a stragiht face while looking at Bill laughing so much he had to stuff his hat into his mouth - Excellent stuff

'I'm certainly coming to that conclusion. I was just thinking of the Politics episode; on the first DVD there's the outtakes where Tim keeps losing it, but when you watch the final edit of Politics, he's completely composed. You'd never think he'd been corpsing in previous takes. Perhaps that's why we never see Tim's corpsing moments in The Goodies, and yet we do in At Last the 1948 Show because everything had to be done in one take. What a professional!

Jess.

Definitely! I'm always SO impressed that he managed to hold it together as well as he did in the Police Women sketch. I mean, when three of the funniest people EVER decide to play a joke on you...

Oh, I love that moment. From what I can gather, Tim didn't laugh, you can't hear it in his voice anyway. I'm sure they all had a good giggle about it off camera though!

It's definitely Tim who says it. I like to think it was an ad lib.

Am I the only one who wonders what they were all doing while Bill was singing? I think probably Tim and John were doing some serious upstaging - there are times when the audience quite obviously aren't laughing at the songs...

Oh, I'm glad it was Tim who said it, I was secretly hoping it was. You're certainly not the only one, I've often wondered that too and noticed the audience laughing at completely inappropriate moments. Perhaps they were doing mean things to Bill behind his back; yawning, looking at their watches, doing a crossword etc. That would be funny!

I think Tim was really very controlled. Or at least I can't think off the top of my head of any time he really lost it.

' I have trouble deciding whether some of the mistakes in ISIRTA are mistakes or not. Like in the episode of The Curse of the Flying Wombat when Tim is having a conversation between Tim Brown-Windsor and Lady Constance and reads one of the lines in the wrong voice. I think it's just the fact that he says "I'm sorry, I'll read that again" after he says it.
I love the mistakes in ISIRTA. I want to know if the "Anyone should be singing it but John Cleese" was scripted...

The Lady Constance mistake is one of my favourites, I have that clip on my iPod. It never fails to amuse me, Tim sounds so bashful when he says "I'm sorry I'll read that again" - it's very sweet. I can't remember who said, "Anyone should be singing it but John Cleese" - but it was hilarious and sounded like an adlib to me. It's another great ISIRTA moment!

This weeks ISIHAC was excellent ( as always)  Everyone sang beautifully.  I particularly enjoyed how quickly Tim responded to one of Andy's revelation about the 3 things that Brits were cr@p at!  He was very eager to distance himself from the 'being cr@p at sex' statement.  Well that was never in doubt    he is certainly pretty fantastic in my daydreams so one can only imagine how good the real thing would be    - Oops did I just say that out loud now

'Camelot' is a great episode, and those tights - lovely!  I love the bit when they're tortured and Tim gets tickled, his laugh is adorable. Now I just have to find a moment when Tim laughs without intending to!

Oh, I just thought of another moment when Tim makes someone else corpse. In 'Scatty Safari', Tim says "Australia, here we come" in a very over the top Australian accent, and then it cuts to Bill who's completely lost it. Heehee, I love that bit.

'I do, however, recall a moment when Tim made Graeme and Bill corpse. In the 'Camelot' episode, Graeme plays a short song on the lute and you hear Bill cracking up off camera. It then cuts to Tim and Bill, and Tim, dressed as a jester, has a hilarious blank look on his face while his jester hat twizzles around.

Had to watch that episode again after hearing that. And can I just say... THE TIGHTS!!

That's enough of that from me.

That bit with the jester hat is one of my favourite Goodies moments and I want that hat!

' I'm going to have the Shiny Shoes song in my head for days now!

I'm struggling to think of any Goodies moments where Tim corpses, which I find a little too hard to believe, because he's corpsed several times in both ISIRTA and the 1948 Show. There must be something, somewhere...

I do, however, recall a moment when Tim made Graeme and Bill corpse. In the 'Camelot' episode, Graeme plays a short song on the lute and you hear Bill cracking up off camera. I love that scene - it reminded me the Ecky Thump scene when Tim and Grae were trying to get Bill to spill the beans (get it - Beans - sorry) about his martial arts secret and when it was Grae's turn to speak and Tim was watching him (with a big smile on his face) he started to laugh and stumbled over his lines slightly -
G= 'I shall not elude'
T= 'Elude not Grae'
G= 'of my wee cousin Hamish...'
sorry that recreation is not entirely correct but you get my drift.

'
JessPix :

'I'll be keeping out a beady eye from now on for Timbo corpsing moments. I'm ever so intrigued!
Jess.

Ooh ! that sounds kind of painful
