Due to extreme stupidity on my part, I've ccidentally deleted the last couple of posts to the forum while I was updating the database for some new features on the site.  I did manage to recover the link posted by Enzed though, so here it is.

Sincere aplologies for any undue stress this may have caused.

Just to let you know, a number of years ago a now-defunct shop in High Street, Auckland City used to sell 'Goodies' t-shirts with the boys on the trandem in Yellow on a red shirt.

Boy did the red dye pour out of that shirt.

I still wear it from time to time...

You can sort of see it here - on the left (the red one)...

I've been to Chapel St a while back and bought one, but I wanted another one for my sister.  With a trip to Melbourne not imminent, I did the following:

The shop is called Wild Monkey, and you'll find the phone number by searching in www.whitepages.com.au.  He'll sell you shirts over the phone if you have a Visa card.  The shirts are $35 and he's only charging me $3 postage to Brisbane.  Almost as cheap as catching a tram, even if I was in Melbourne!

Thing is, I just bought his second-last one in stock!  Ring now!

I asked him if he always stocks them, and he says that he does from time to time.  The shop specialises in printed tees, and they're printing different things all of the time.  If we keep the demand up, I guess he'll keep on printing them = more people spreading the word about The Goodies!

OK Trendsetters - here's my problem.

I live in Adelaide.  Over the last couple of years, the number of people I've seen wearing a yellow Goodies T-shirt has increased exponentially.  I've asked every one of them where they got their shirts.  The answer: Melbourne.  I went to Sydney recently and asked somebody there.  Their answer was also Melbourne.  There were no less than 5 people wearing the shirts at the Adelaide Big Day Out.  Again, Melbourne.

Can some kind Melbournite please let me know when they are next going to Chappel Street?  Can some kind Melbournite please liaise with me to get a shirt over here to Adelaide?  Or at least tell me the name and number of the shop that sells them?  It 's a different shirt to the one available on this site, and I prefer it - it's yellow with The Goodies written across the front in the familiar script.

I'm desperate!!!  I'm Adelaidean - that means I'm disadvantaged!!!

Don't Dispair Dave, New designs of the club T-Shirts are being worked on as we speak.  We are looking at a black shirt with white text, a blue shirt with white text and our traditional yellow shirt with purple text with just

                    The
                Goodies

on the front and

              Anything
                Anytime

on the back.  Thre are other designs in the pipeline, it's just a small matter of being patient.

NB:  I want one too and I'm also disadvantaged in the same manner
