Many firsts
iaimtomisbehave

Well, where to begin?

First 1: This is my first journal entry – it’s all about Sunday’s trip to London to see the recording of ISIHAC at the Victoria Palace theatre.

First 2: Without giving anything about the show away, my first experience of Rob Brydon live – what a fantastic singing voice!

First 3: I met Sosia and was able to tell her in person how funny I found her corduroy pillow joke (if you haven’t heard it, go to her journal)

First 4: I had my first (but hopefully not last) Timbo Cuddle and yes, it IS all it's cracked up to be.

First 5: I was (effectively) asked for a hug by a comedy genius (the LOVELY Rob Brydon - for more info see Nezangel's journal, she's described the whole day really well and I don't want to just repeat her) and of course it would have been rude to say no!!

First 6: I growled at a different comedy genius. Yes, GROWLED. (Carrie has already addressed the lack of merchandise on sale) - I mentioned to Graeme that I'd been hoping to get a couple of dictionaries signed but couldn't as I hadn’t been able to buy them. I then rambled on that I might write to the BBC and say "grrrr" (obviously it’s not the Clue people’s fault, if the BBC won’t let them sell the stuff then there’s nothing they can do) Thankfully, Graeme seemed to take it in his stride and didn’t go running in the opposite direction screaming “There’s a mad woman on the loose” (but then he has met Carrie before so clearly has a high loony tolerance threshold!! Tee hee hee – I don’t mean it really) Graeme – if you ever happen to read this I’d like to say sorry for being so random!!

I think that’s enough for now so I’ll finish by saying basically, I had a great time on Sunday. The show was excellent, the guys were just lovely when we met them at the stage door and I got some wonderful hugs. And do you know what’s best? Carrie got my ticket for me and wouldn’t let me pay her for it (well, no it’s not best, the hugs were, but you know what I mean) so thank you very, very, very much Carrie and thanks to anyone who’s stayed long enough to read this to the end.

Mood - Pretty happy
Music - None - just the sounds of the office around me

Timbo Cuddle's are fab aren't they - I recommend them to everyone (including you, so I'm glad you enjoyed the experience!)
I'm sure Graeme won't mind being growled at (he is very growl-worthy in a different sense!) - as you say he's met loonier people before! (cheeky mare! )
You sound just a little smitten with Rob - can't say I blame you, he is so talented and such a charmer too *sigh*

And don't mention it about the ticket - it was great to hang out with you - I had a good laugh!

I am, indeed, a smitten kitten. He's very funny, charming, sings phenomenally well and is still modest. What more could you ask for?

What a great first journal entry!

It was my first ISIHC, so my first time seeing Rob Brydon live too.

Tim cuddles are the best experience in the world. But I warn you, once you've had one you'll need more!

And I'm so glad you liked my joke. It makes it worth while posting it.

Sounds like you had a fab time at Clue!  Lucky you as well for getting a Timbo hug - they are the best!  Carrie's right to recommend them!

Glad you had a great time at Clue - Rob Brydon is so good and very hot - you're lucky to get a hug from him as well!
