' Well apart from the uncanny resemblance that the "chick" in the head scarf has to me (and Queenofknerds reference to the league of gentleman liking the goodies) I fail to see the connection between them and this thread.
If you can get your hands on either the first or second series of League of Gentlemen, you will be able to see the characters in all their grotesque glory. Then you may be able to see the link.

Bill : I know when I'm licked cos it feels lovely !
This is a Local Shop for Local People! There's nothing for you here!
I just love Tubbs and Edward, all of the League. Incidentally, so do the Goodies. And the League Lads and Little Britain Boys and all that say they were very much influenced by the Goodies.
There's this massive comedy web, isn't there? In one way or another all of the greats are connected to every one fo the other greats. Huzzah!

' Please don't take this as offensive, but every time I read this thread I think Tubbs and Edward from League of Gentlemen...
"We didn't burn him!"
When someone utters the world "Please don't take this as offensive" I always get very worried however having not seen the aforementioned show (which is probably a good thing right about now) I shall not take offense.....yet.
Here's a picture to illustrate:
The picture is not the same as knowing the characters though. If I tried to explain them it would be very boring and take the fun out of it all.
