YEH Jack Black was in the band "Tenatious D" with the song "Tribute" as noted by Jeffers. I agree he would be a good bet, however.....a "Hern" (goon Lingo for Yankie") Hugh Grant as Tim? errm nyo! not a good one for me, How about Micheal Barrymore as Graeme and Bradly Walsh for Tim? |

I'd just like to see Hugh Grant in a dress. Now that would be funny. |

Jack Black was in the movie Shallow Hal with Gwyneth paltrow, he was in Hi Fidelity with John Cusack, he appeared in the X files, and had a big hit with "Tribute to the greatest song in the world"
or whatever it was called. Hairy tubby fairly short-ish comedian from the U.S.
Rent out Hi Fidelity and you'll see his Bill-ish qualities! Very annoying to the people he works with.
I agree Hugh Grant would be good as Tim. |

I always fancied Hugh Grant as Tim. But he probably couldn't afford all the hair bleach!
PS Who's Jack Black when he's at home? |

Taking this from the "Goodies Most Missed Comedy"
thread:
EroomNailliG - 'If the Goodies could regenerate who would you suggest for "Tim 2" "Graeme 2" and "Bill 2"?'
Jeffers - 'Tough one! err..
Simon Pegg could do Tim (or Graeme)
Alan Davies as Graeme
Bill is irreplaceable, but if one had to choose...
Jack Black. I know he's american but he's the closest I can get.
Small, hairy, funny, and a musician, he fits the 'bill' alright - ha ha ha ha!
Am I wrong??' |
