' I noticed the following sentence in my tv mag this week in an article talking about George Cole.
"This Christmas, he's set to star along side Geraldine McEwan as butler Laurence Raeburn in ITV1's Marple:Nemesis."
Looks like we might finally get to see Graeme's appearance.  Seeing as they said they'd show it during 2008 they sure are keeping us hanging on!

About time too!!

Thanks for the information, especially the bit about this Saturday's Archive Hour as I hadn't spotted that before.  It sounds really interesting, even if it does mean putting up with Nicholas Parsons for an hour!

Here's a list of upcoming tv & radio shows of interest to Goodies fans. "(NEW)" indicates shows added since the last update (some of which may be repeats). It's advisable to check your local listings for schedule changes.

Feel free to let us know about anything that should be added to the list - contributions & corrections are always welcome! (Thanks to everyone who's been helping with the spottings!)

(NEW) * Thurs, 16 Oct - "I've Never Seen Star Wars" with Tim on BBC Radio 4 at 18:30.  It can be heard online from www.bbc.co.uk/radio4 and will be available for a week after broadcast from Listen Again.

(NEW) * Sat, 18 Oct - "The Archive Hour" this day is entitled "How Radio Comedy Changed a Nation" and includes contributions from Barry Cryer, among others.  The program will air on BBC Radio 4 at 20:00-21:00 and can be heard online at www.bbc.co.uk/radio4.  I don't know if the show will mention any of Tim, Graeme, & Bill's projects, but it sounds interesting - "Nicholas Parsons explores how radio comedy has developed and how it reveals much about the way the British live. Through rarely-heard archive material and interviews with writers, performers and comedians, he investigates the impact that radio comedy has had upon the nation. Including contributions from Paul Merton, Barry Cryer, Ray Galton and Alan Simpson and Sanjeev Bhaskar."

(NEW) * Tues, 21 Oct - "The Wright Stuff" on Five at 09:00-10:30.  Bill is scheduled to be a guest on this day.  (thanks to wackywales for posting this info in the club's forums)

(NEW) * Thurs & Fri, 23-24 Oct - "The Truth About Killer Dinosaurs", presented by Bill, is repeated on UKTV Documentary each day at 9:00.  I suspect part 1 is airing Thursday and part 2 on Friday, but you should check your local listings to confirm this.

(NEW) * Mon, 27 Oct - an episode of "Bill Oddie Goes Wild" is repeated on UKTV Gardens at 20:00

* Mon-Thurs, Oct 27-Nov 6 - "Autumnwatch" with Bill Oddie returns for a new series.

* Mondays - "I'm Sorry I'll Read That Again" with Tim, Graeme & Bill is being repeated on BBC Radio 7 at 12.30pm and 7.30pm. The show can be heard worldwide via the internet from www.bbc.co.uk/radio7; each episode will be available for a week after broadcast from Listen Again at http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b009zbr2

* Sundays - "Hello Cheeky" on BBC Radio 7 at 13:30 (repeated later in the day at 19:30 and Monday morning at 6:30). The show can be heard worldwide via the internet from www.bbc.co.uk/radio7; each episode will be available for a week after broadcast from Listen Again (on the BBC 7 website or at http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00db2x8).

* various dates & times - The Comedy Channel in Australia occasionally is repeating episodes of "The Goodies".  Consult their website (at http://www.comedychannel.com.au/WhatsOn/Detail.aspx?id=211) for details about any episodes coming up in the next 7 days.

I listened to the first one and thoroughly enjoyed it.  I will carry on to the rest as soon as I get time but it's been a bit chaotic recently and I've had no time to sit down and listen to stuff so I have a bit of a backlog to catch up with!

I have - it's been good fun so far (I can't believe Mark Steel is so inept at putting together flat pack!  )
