The DVD is brilliant! Watched it for the first time today and enjoyed all the extras, hopefully they've saved some for future releases.
Everyone should go and buy a copy if they don't already have it! |

As I have discussed with a few, it could not hurt for all Goodies fans to on the wonderful web and send some emails to anyone and everyone to get MORE Goodies DVD's. If they know we want more, it might help the cause, sure as hell cant hurt!

I purchased my copy of the DVD yesterday and was pleasently surprised at getting 8 episodes. Saturday Night Grease would have to be one of my favourites.
A good selection from their early days to later stuff. |

P.S: And The Goodies "BBC Gender Education Film" was hilarous. I had not see that episode is years (maybe 15 years) and it was hilarious!...
"How to make babies by doing dirty things"...LOL!
I am actually showing that segment of that epsiode to my grade 12 students as we are studying a unit in Media Censorship. They will crack up I am sure, as it is not far beyond the sex ed videos they get today as the particular type of school I teach at .... |

Who else has their copy of the DVD? I got mine yesterday- I'm happy to say that they've done a good job with the digital restoration of the episodes. The colours are vibrant, contrast has been improved, scratches and marks have been removed- the quality is really quite good for a 20-30 year old TV programme....
I really hope they continue to release more! I want them all!! |
