Back to my choices, why? johnny vegas as bill, short & round, a fall guy & comic genius, graham norton, well if any of the goodies were a bit gay it would probly be tim, and i see angus deaton as the best chose for graham, If you are regenerating them as in dr who, they dont need to look exactly like the originals. and whoever was cast it still wouldnt be the same.

We were talking about "regenerating" the Goodies like in Dr Who, so personalities and even appearances can change a bit.  Fundamentals must stay the same though

Johnny vegas as bill,  graham norton as tim & angus deaton as graham. BUt it wouldnt be the goodies, as no one can replace bill, graham & tim.

What about Rab Nesbit for Bill? He'd have to work on his accent, Graeme was the Goodie with Scottish heritage, but he is small, hairy and a bit of a lad.

Yes Rob Halford was in "Judas Priest".  Many apologies, a trick of the light or something.  How about Timbo doing "Take on the World" or "Break the Law" then?

Rock on !

Hang on! Wasn't Rob Halford in Judas Priest?

I could well be wrong.

There was talk (about 3 years ago) of Steven Spielberg doing a Goodies/Monkees type series with Supergrass!

If we're talking popstars as "Goodies", what about Rob Halford (ex"Motorhead") as Tim.

I can just imagine Timbo giving a head-banging rendition of "The Ace of Spades"!

Michael Barrymore?  the man's TV poison at the moment.  The newspapers are practically accusing him of murder, although the "victim" died accidentally in Barrymore's swimming pool.

PS  For the benefit of those who don't or can't read British newspapers, I'm not going into any of the scandalous details, although drink and drugs were involved.
