Well it certainly looks like you have somebody in television who is actually worth anything, not like the miserable gits we have at the BBC |

I just got this reply from The Comedy Network:
-----------------------------------------------------
Hey Patte,
Wow. So we take it you like this program
We have passed your email on to the acquisitions department for their consideration.
Thank you for your interest in The Comedy Network.
---------------------------------------------------
(At least they didn't just put it into the "circular file"...)

The other day, I wrote to The Comedy Network here in Canada, suggesting that they look into airing "The Goodies", because I don't think it's aired here since the CBC aired it in the mid-1970s for about a season; because surely I can't be the only one who remembers mis-spending my after-school time watching it on the CBC back then; and because it's still absolutely brilliant, whether you're a kid or someone like me, who is (allegedly) an adult.
I mentioned the "fatal" episode (what a way to go!), and I even pointed out the Python connection, since The Comedy Network has been airing "Monty Python" for the past year, so they already have a good potential audience for anarchic vintage British comedy.
It would really help the cause if my fellow Canadian members could write to The Comedy Network too. Their website doesn't provide a physical address (perhaps "No Fixed Abode, Toronto"???), but their e-mail address is mail@thecomedynetwork.ca.
Thanks for your help!
