Does this mean they won't be releasing region 1 encoding for the DVD?

I read in a FAQ that Microsoft's XBOX (with the DVD addon) will play both PAL and NTSC DVD's- as long as they're region free.

So, I popped my UK PAL Goodies- 'At Last' DVD into my US NTSC XBOX and...it plays.

Now you can watch The Goodies official DVD in the US!
